E-business Conference E-trgovina 2008, April 16 – 18, Palic, Serbia

The 8-th Conference on electronic commerce and electronic business E-trgovina 2008, the largest regional event in this field, will be traditionally held in Palic, Serbia, in the period from April 16, to April 18, 2008.

The meeting is dedicated to the promotion of the actual e-commerce and e-business development in the region, and the popularization of electronic business in Serbia, and SEE region.

The conference is supported by Serbian Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Services, Serbian Ministry of Science and Environmental Protection, and Serbian Chamber of Commerce. It regularly attracts over 250 delegates from commercial, government and research organisations in the region.

It is intended for researchers, academics, industry specialists, practitioners & students interested in the advances in, and applications of, e-business and e-commerce. The participants will have an opportunity to present and observe the latest research results, and ideas in these areas.

The goal of this conference is to introduce the business industry representatives with the actual trends and possibilities of implementing e-business in their environment. 

Call for Papers

The conference is soliciting full papers (complete research paper, research case, teaching case) on all aspects of e-commerce and e-business.

The official languages of the conference are English and Serbian / Croatian / Bosnian. All submitted papers will be reviewed on the basis of tehnical quality, relevance to E-business and E-commerce, originality, signficance, and clarity.

Case studies papers should reflect either a specific or a broad range of e-commerce issues and cover success stories or failures. Relevance of issues addressed and lessons learned from the case are important criteria for acceptance.

Accepted papers will appear in the ISBN registered conference proceedings provided that at least one author registers for the conference. Submissions may be up to 10 pages, not including bibliography and appendices.
